Steven Espinoza oversees Westwood’s computer science research, including dashboards, scraping, and database management. He specializes in web scraping (Beautiful Soup), GIS/mapping (GeoPandas), interactive visuals (Bokeh), and crafting custom functionality for multidimensional scaling techniques within an economic development context.
His work includes local economic analyses, real estate analysis, as well as building interactive data visualizations for clients.
Steven holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University where he completed extensive coursework in econometrics, statistical modeling, and graduate-level data science and machine learning.
